ABSTRACT: The influence of SST anomalies in the displacement of the ST a scenario under the influence of global warming is investigated in middle and high latitudes through simulations of the atmospheric general circulation model (AGCM), ECHAM5/MPI-OM. The variations of the surface temperature of the sea seem to have great contribution in the redistribution of cyclonic activity in future climate scenario evidenced by higher positive anomalies found in the region of the Drake Passage, confirming the shift of the Storm Tracks into the pole.
